The Adinci stage: a city block with one rented zone, a phone that walks in, and the coins of one view split three ways.

A map, not a feed

Ads that paythe person who shows up.

Adinci is a map of real places. A business rents a zone over its door. When your phone walks in, the ad opens, and if you watch it to the end you earn coins. 1,000 coins = $1.

One mechanism, four stages

1.0 · A place becomes a zone.

A café, a shop, a street corner. The business draws a circle or a square over it on the map and rents it for 1, 3 or 12 months. Whoever rents it is the zone owner, and nothing runs there without their yes.

Price = area × months, shown before you confirm.

2.0 · A phone crosses the line.

The edge of the zone is a geofence. Your phone’s GPS notices the crossing on its own: no app to open, no scan, no check-in, no signal needed.

Offline visits wait on the phone and are paid when it reconnects.

3.0 · The countdown runs.

The ad fills the screen with a countdown. A video pays per second watched, up to three minutes; a poster pays a flat amount per view. Leave early and nothing is paid, by anyone.

A visit reward needs no ad: coins per minute spent inside.

4.0 · The coins split 60 / 30 / 10.

Adinci’s server pays, never the phone. Of every completed view in someone else’s zone, 60% goes to the viewer, 30% to the zone owner and 10% to Adinci.

Own zone 80 / 0 / 20 · expired lease 60 / 0 / 40.

Where the coins go

Three cases. The server knows which one it is.

Every completed view is split by a fixed rule, on Adinci’s side, at the moment it completes. The viewer always takes the largest share.

Built to be hard to cheat

A payment needs a crossing and a countdown that really ran.

  1. The server pays, never the phone

The phone only reports the visit. Adinci’s server takes the coins from the advertiser’s budget and splits them.

  2. Offline visits are checked, not trusted

A visit dated in the future is refused. A visit in a zone that is not running is refused. The same visit sent twice pays once.

  3. Businesses see a doorway, not a person

A zone report shows age groups, the gender split and the busiest hour of that one zone. Where you go outside it is not part of what they rented.

  4. Location is used for one decision

Did the phone cross a boundary? That is decided on the device, which is also why it works with no signal.

The questions people actually ask

The questions people actually ask.

All questions, by account
What actually happens when I walk into a zone?

Your phone notices, by GPS, that it has entered a rented zone. The ad running there fills the screen with a countdown.

Watch it to the end and the coins are yours at once. No tap, no scan, no check-in. The only scan ever is at a counter, if the ad carried an offer and you took its coupon.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. The crossing is worked out on the phone, so a zone you enter with no signal still counts.

The visit waits on the device and is paid when you are back online. Maps and routes can be downloaded in advance.

What is an Adinci coin worth?

1,000 coins = $1. The rate does not move with how much you have earned or how long you have been here.

Coins are exchanged in the app for phone credit, game credit and other rewards.

What stops someone faking a visit?

A payment needs a crossing and a countdown that actually ran, from a phone that was actually inside the zone.

Visits made offline are checked when they arrive: a visit dated in the future is refused, a visit for a zone that is not running is refused, and the same visit sent twice pays once.
