The questions people actually ask.
Each answer says what the product does and how. Where something is not built yet, it says that instead.
Walking in, watching, earning
What actually happens when I walk into a zone?
Your phone notices, by GPS, that it has entered a rented zone. The ad running there fills the screen with a countdown.
Watch it to the end and the coins are yours at once. No tap, no scan, no check-in. The only scan ever is at a counter, if the ad carried an offer and you took its coupon.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The crossing is worked out on the phone, so a zone you enter with no signal still counts.
The visit waits on the device and is paid when you are back online. Maps and routes can be downloaded in advance.
How am I paid, and in what?
In Adinci coins, credited when the view completes. 1,000 coins = $1.
A video pays per second watched, up to three minutes. A poster pays a flat amount per view. A visit reward shows no ad and pays per minute of presence.
Does it drain my battery?
While you walk, the app checks one thing: whether you crossed a boundary. That decision is made on the phone.
Watching a video costs what any video costs, the screen. There is no battery figure here because it depends on your handset and on how many zones your day crosses.
Do I need a bank card to start?
Not to earn. You walk, you watch, and the coins are yours.
You can also add coins to your balance with a top-up card, sold for cash by distributor shops.
Renting a place
Can I refuse an ad in my zone?
Yes, and nothing runs there until you say yes. An advertiser who wants your zone sends a request; you approve it or refuse it.
If you refuse, the coins that advertiser set aside go back to them and nothing is ever shown.
Can I run my own ad in my own zone?
Yes, and it needs nobody’s approval, because the approval was always yours.
The split is 80 / 0 / 20: eighty to the person who walked in and watched, no separate owner share because you are the owner, twenty to Adinci.
What do I earn from another business’s ad?
On a third-party view the split is 60 / 30 / 10: sixty to the viewer, thirty to you as the owner of the place, ten to Adinci.
What happens when my lease ends?
The place stops being yours and the owner share goes with it. A view delivered over an expired lease splits 60 / 0 / 40.
Renewing before the end keeps the zone and everything attached to it. Leases run for 1, 3 or 12 months.
Can I change a zone after I have rented it?
A zone can be resized after purchase. The price is recomputed by the server from the ground the new shape actually covers, by the same rule as the first purchase.
Advertising in someone else’s place
How do I choose where to advertise?
You choose a place, not an audience list. Every zone shows how many visits it gets; you pick the one over the doorway, corner or street you want, and request it from whoever rents it.
What exactly am I paying for?
A view a person completed on a full-screen countdown while physically inside your zone.
Not an impression, not a scroll past, not a click on the way to somewhere else.
What if the zone owner refuses?
The campaign does not run there and the coins you set aside come back to you. A refusal costs you nothing but time.
What can I actually show people?
A video, charged per second watched up to three minutes. A poster, a flat amount per view. Or a visit reward, which shows no ad and pays for minutes spent inside your place.
What do I get back from a campaign?
A report per campaign: where it ran, the completed views delivered there, and what it drew against the coins you set aside.
An ad with a goal adds the path from view to result: who wanted it, who followed through and, for coupons, at which branch. Because payment follows completed views, the report and the invoice describe the same events.
Many branches at once
How do I create hundreds of zones at once?
Upload one file of branch coordinates and a zone is created over each branch in it.
From there a single campaign can go to every branch, and one dashboard covers all of them.
What is in a per-zone report?
What was delivered there, the age group and gender split of the people who came in, and the busiest hour.
Coupons redeemed at a branch are counted on that branch’s own page, by cashier and by ad.
Can I pay for all of this from the web dashboard?
Not yet. Creating zones over your branches and running campaigns across them works from the web dashboard. Buying the zones in bulk from it does not: that button is switched off rather than half-working.
Rewards and pricing
What is an Adinci coin worth?
1,000 coins = $1. The rate does not move with how much you have earned or how long you have been here.
Coins are exchanged in the app for phone credit, game credit and other rewards.
Who is paid on a single view?
Three splits, applied by the server. The first number is always the viewer.
60 / 30 / 10 for a business advertising in someone else’s zone. 80 / 0 / 20 for an owner running their own ad in their own zone. 60 / 0 / 40 for a view delivered over an expired lease.
When am I credited?
The moment the view completes, not at the end of a month and not once a threshold is reached.
A visit made with no signal is credited when the phone reconnects and the visit is accepted.
How does a zone get its price?
From the area of the shape you drew and from the lease: 1, 3 or 12 months.
The map shows an estimate while you drag. The price you are charged is the one the server returns when you confirm.
Does an advertiser’s money leave straight away?
Coins are set aside when the campaign is requested and only move as views are delivered.
If the owner refuses, or the campaign never runs, they come back. Every movement of coins is made by the server.
Privacy and safety
What stops someone faking a visit?
A payment needs a crossing and a countdown that actually ran, from a phone that was actually inside the zone.
Visits made offline are checked when they arrive: a visit dated in the future is refused, a visit for a zone that is not running is refused, and the same visit sent twice pays once.
Is Adinci watching where I go all day?
The app looks for one thing: a boundary crossing, decided on the phone.
A business that rents a place sees the visits to that place. Where you go outside their zone is not part of what they rented.
What can the business whose zone I entered see about me?
The report is about the doorway, not about you by name: the age groups and gender split of the people who came, and the busiest hour of that one zone.
Is anything on this site not built yet?
One thing: renting zones in bulk for many branches from the web dashboard is switched off. Everything else described here is how the product works today.
No question matches that. Try a single word.
